I am fully insured, experienced and a professional car detailer with a passion for cars and making them look the best they can.  I specialise in paint correction, ceramic coating and all aspects of valeting.  LT Detail is based on the Wales/Shropshire border close to the market towns of Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Welshpool.  I have always been passionate about cars and from an early age and took great pleaser in maintaining our family fleet of cars as a youngster.  This passion grew and developed in to my early adult hood where I studied my level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance at college and begin my own car ownership journey.   

My career started in 2010 when I secured a job working as a Valeter at a local main dealer.  It was here that I was able to turn my hobby in to something that pays.  My time at the dealership served as somewhat of a self-taught apprenticeship,  I took time to ensure that any cars that came in were sent out of the valet bay looking the best they possibly could.  It also gave me experience in valeting a vast array of different type of vehicles in varied states!  Building my knowledge and use of chemicals and cleaning techniques every time I was faced with a new challenge.  It was here that I developed by basic understanding and skills in machine polishing and this grew in to a interest that I continued to refine and practice outside of my work.  I would often post my work on social media as a digital record of my work and development, this is what lead me to the next chapter of my career! 

Through social media connections and other detailers I followed for inspiration, I came across Perfect Polish in Shrewsbury.  At this time I was wanting to develop further as a Detailer and was keen to take the next step in my career, so I reached out!  Initially there weren’t any job available at the time as there was a change in management at the business, however I received a reply shortly after this set back and in 2016 I was employed! 

Working for Perfect Polish was my dream job, It opened so many opportunities to work on some incredible vehicles! From hummers to a Jaguar XJ 220 and everything in between!  I was like a kid in a sweetshop!! It was here that I was able to refine and polish (excuse the pun) my skills as a detailer and I loved every minute of it.  As well as working with some incredible vehicles, ones that I could only dream of owning, I was able to become familiar and use some insane brands, products and new materials!   Eventually my hard work and dedication paid off and I became head detailer.  That’s it! I had reached the pinnacle of my career! The only way this could get better was if I run my own detailing business! Yet another dream that I wouldn’t be able to achieve! (or so I thought) 

In April 2024 the owner of Perfect Polish decided to wind the business down after closing its sister company, that hired high end sports cars.  As you can imagen this was devastating for me! I had spent so many years refining my knowledge and skills as a detailer and I couldn’t imagen me working for another company! I would have to start all over again!  I spent months thinking about the idea of setting up on my own and did I have the confidence and or resources to do this!  I’m still questioning in this now! But never the less I have!  It’s with thanks to my family, friends and support from my previous employer, I have achieved yet another dream!  What happens next is now up to me and my lovely customers! I’m so grateful for the opportunity to share my skills with you all and hope I can count on your support and custom as I enter in to this new chapter of my life!
